National Night Out

What is National Night Out?

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that encourages partnerships between law enforcement and the communities they serve. The goal of this event is to promote neighborhood camaraderie and police-community partnerships, creating safer and more caring places to live.

For the Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department (FORPD), National Night Out is a special opportunity to connect with local neighborhoods in a meaningful way. Every year, FORPD officers and first responders visit participating neighborhoods to strengthen the ties that help keep our communities safe. Whether through community cookouts, block parties, or simple gatherings, this event offers a chance for residents to meet the people who serve their community, ask questions, and engage in open dialogue.

No matter how a neighborhood chooses to celebrate, the goal of National Night Out remains the same: to continue building strong, resilient relationships between neighbors and first responders.

Current Neighborhood Participation

We currently have three participating groups If your neighborhood isn’t listed, there’s still time to join the event! We would love to visit and connect with even more members of our community.

We encourage all neighborhoods to take part in this important event. Whether you plan a big neighborhood gathering or simply want to meet and chat with the officers who serve you, we’re here to foster a sense of unity and security.
