The City’s Drought Contingency Plan provides for initiation of Stage 1 when two of the three conditions are met: (1) the static water level in the FORU observation well averages less than or equal to 1045feet above mean sea level for fifteen consecutive days, (2) the water system’s average daily production of Trinity Aquifer groundwater for the same fifteen consecutive days exceeds 1.2 million gallons per day, or (3) Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority implements Stage 1 water reduction requirements from their drought contingency plan.
Drought Surcharges are in effect for consumption beginning July 1, 2018.
