Overview

The City of Fair Oaks Ranch takes pride in its most valuable asset: its workforce - full of highly dedicated, caring, and professional employees. It is the mission of the Human Resources & Communications Department to attract, develop, and help retain a diverse workforce capable of providing quality services to the citizens of Fair Oaks Ranch, and to engage the citizenry through active City communication.


Scope of Services

Human Resource Management - The department partners with Administration to provide workforce and management strategies in the areas of workforce planning, compensation, and policy development.  The department provides the functions of recruitment and selection, policy and procedure application, employee relations, compensation and benefit administration, performance management, employment law compliance, employee recognition, employee development, and personnel records management.

Risk Management – The department coordinates the Employee Emergency Action Plan and  worker’s compensation coverage for all City employees in order to maintain a safe working environment.  The department files and monitors any claims until resolution.

Communications – The department coordinates communication with the citizens of Fair Oaks Ranch by maintaining the City’s website and social media account.  The department also coordinates and publicizes any community outreach events.
