Emergency Notification Banner

The City is committed to providing residents with timely, accurate information during emergencies. Whether it’s flash flooding, utility updates, or major weather events, we offer multiple tools to keep you connected and informed.

HALT System Alerts

The High-water Alert Lifesaving Technology (HALT) System warns drivers when floodwaters make it unsafe to cross Rolling Acres Trail at the Post Oak Creek low water crossing.
When dangerous conditions occur, the system automatically activates flashing beacons, closes gates, and provides real-time alerts to prevent accidents and protect lives. Find out more about the
HALT Flood Gates here.

Residents can monitor the real-time status of the HALT System online:

Always remember: Turn Around, Don’t Drown.
