Mission
To ensure the safety of you, your family, and our community through innovative solutions and proactive community engagement
Vision
To serve people one-by-one so together, we can create a safe and secure environment where people can thrive.
Philosophy
The City of Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department upholds a unique philosophy known as One-by-One Policing, a core principle embraced by every officer. This approach is not just a method, but a way of life, centered on compassion and a commitment to serving each individual in the most effective manner possible.
By focusing on personalized service and addressing the unique needs of each person, we collectively foster safe, secure environments where individuals and communities can thrive.
We Go First
What this means is two-fold. Not only are we the first to run towards danger, but we also make it a point to go first when we interact with the public. We try to be the first to make eye contact. The first to smile and say hello. The first to hold the door open or say thank you. This is a mindset that sets us apart from other agencies. We want to be the best and going first is our commitment in reaching that goal.
Purpose - "To Protect the Vulnerable from Harm"
Our purpose, our mission, and our guiding belief are centered around this core principle.
Values - ICARE
Integrity- the cornerstone of police work; without it, public trust is lost
Courage- to make the right professional decision
Accountable- to the community, the department, and coworkers.
Respect- of the community, the department, and most importantly, self.
Ethical- professional actions and decision making.
