Traffic Alert for Week of April 17: Wembley/Sky Blue/Sunland/Meadow Creek Trail

Full depth reclamation and asphalt paving were postponed and will begin on April 17. One lane open at all times. Signage will direct drivers to detours. Flaggers and signs will will direct one-way, alternating traffic. www.fairoaksranchroads.org for info.

Here's a near-term look ahead of streets impacted:

  • Feb. 27 - April 21: Silver Spur will be flagged as needed for trenching and drainage work
  • April 3 - 14: Meadow Creek Trail will continue to be widened at the edges for future asphalt placement.
  • April 17 - 20: Wembley, Sky Blue and Sunland for roadway rebuilding.
  • April 20 - 27: Meadow Creek Trail for roadway rebuilding.
  • April 26 - May 1: Scarteen and Rolling Acres Trail for roadway rebuilding.
  • May 1 - 3: Dapper Dan and Turf Paradise for roadway rebuilding.

  • May 8 - 10: Intrepid and Rock Oak for roadway rebuilding.
  • May 9 - 17: Silver Spur for roadway rebuilding.
  • May 16 - 19: Slumberwood for roadway rebuilding.

For upcoming roadway rebuilding work and street resurfacing, please note the following:

  • One lane of each road will be open at all times. The opposite lane will be one-way traffic in alternating directions, directed by flaggers and signage.
  • For 24 hours after pavement is rebuilt, residents are asked to limit driving on roadway to a bare minimum.
  • For 72 hours after pavement is rebuilt, residents are asked to avoid deliveries by heavy trucks (cement, landscape materials, moving vans, etc.)
  • While work is being done in front of a residence, mail delivery may be briefly impacted and trash may need to be picked up on opposite side of street.
  • Roads will not be closed for resurfacing, but flaggers will direct traffic.
  • Work dates may change within the time frames shown in the calendars on the Construction page.

We will post and send updates as information is available.

Roads closed for construction work will be closed between 8:30 am and 6:30 pm on weekdays, from an hour after sunrise to an hour before sunset. Roads will be open evenings and weekends. During work hours the street will remain generally accessible to school buses, mail delivery, trash collection and emergency services unless other noted.

Thank you for your patience as we work to safely improve the City’s infrastructure.
