First Annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event

This widely anticipated event on August 25 allows local residents the opportunity to bring household hazardous waste, paints, pesticides, and more FREE of CHARGE for disposal.

Why have a collection for Household Hazardous Waste?

Many household items contain hazardous substances that pose health and environmental risk. These substances can leach into the ground water if poured down the drain, thrown in the trash or dumped directly onto the ground. At our collection day, hazardous household products will be sorted by category, properly offloaded by a licensed hauler, and disposed of by the method appropriate to the category.  In anticipating a large turnout for this first HHW collection event, we are limiting the amount of disposal to no more than a pick up bed load per drop off.

If you did not receive a Republic Services event Flyer in the mail, you can view it by clicking on link below titled "Household Hazardous Waste Collection Flyer".
