Home Watch Services
The Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department offers a Home Watch Program to provide special attention to homes of those residents leaving their home unattended for an extended period of time.
Due to departmental procedures, the home watch form is NOT available online. Please come by the Administrative Office, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. to fill out the form.

Animal Services
Our dedicated Animal Services Officers are here to assist with all your animal-related concerns, from wild and dangerous animals to those in distress. We respond to issues involving stray dogs and cats, investigate animal welfare concerns, impound unwanted pets, remove deceased animals, and enforce city ordinances regarding livestock, fowl, and exotic animals.
Animal Services is available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For assistance, please call our non-emergency dispatch at (830) 249-8645. For after-hours, weekend, or holiday support, the same number will connect you with a Fair Oaks Ranch Police Officer.
Golf Cart Information and Services
As of January 1, 2018, the Motorized Golf Cart Ordinance, aligned with the Texas Transportation Code, allows the use of golf carts on Fair Oaks Ranch public streets.

To legally operate your golf cart on city streets, schedule an inspection with the Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department by calling (210) 698-0990. Upon passing, you'll receive a permit sticker. Inspections are by appointment only at 7286 Dietz Elkhorn.
Key requirements include operational headlamps, tail lamps, reflectors, parking brake, rearview mirrors, and a slow-moving vehicle emblem. Golf carts are allowed on streets with a speed limit of 35 mph or less. Drivers must be at least 16 years old with a valid Texas Driver License, and insurance proof is required.
