November 4, 2025 Elections
Texas will hold a constitutional amendment election on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, during which voters will consider 17 proposed amendments to the state constitution.
BISD will also be holding a Voter Approval Tax Rate Election (VATRE) in November. Voters will be able to vote on the BISD VATRE at the polling places of the county in which they reside.
The City of Fair Oaks Ranch Police Station will serve as a polling location for Bexar County voters only.
We encourage you to follow the links to the county election websites or the Ballot Information section below to view sample ballots. Voters may bring marked-up hard copies of these sample ballots into the polling place to assist in marking their official ballot.

Texas voters are required to cast their ballot in the County in which they reside. Since the City of Fair Oaks Ranch spans three counties, voting dates and times may vary by county. It is essential to check the specific information for each.

Applications for Ballot by Mail must be received by the Early Voting Clerk in your County, not simply postmarked, by close of business on Friday October 24, 2025.
To be eligible to vote early by mail in Texas, you must:
- be 65 years or older;
- be sick or disabled;
- be out of the county on election day and during the period for early voting by personal appearance; or
- be expected to give birth within three weeks before or after Election Day; or
- be confined in jail, but otherwise eligible.

Important Election Dates for November 4, 2025 Election:
- October 6, 2025 – Last Day to register to vote
- October 24, 2025 – Last Day to apply for ballot by mail (Received, not postmarked)
- October 20-October 31, 2025 – Early Voting Period (Check each County for Times)
- November 4, 2025 – Last Day to Receive Ballot by Mail (by 7:00 PM if envelope is NOT postmarked)
- November 4, 2025 – Election Day at Vote Center Locations - 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

The Election Day vote center unofficial results will be posted as each vote center reports during the night. Results are unofficial until the authority canvasses the results. At that point they become official results.
