Golf carts are considered motor vehicles and only licensed drivers may operate a golf cart on City streets. Please be advised that failing to have a driver's license may result in a citation for operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license. Parents allowing an unlicensed driver to operate a golf cart on City streets may be issued a citation for allowing an unlicensed driver to operate a motor vehicle. Your cooperation in restricting the use of golf carts to licensed drivers only will go a long way in reducing the safety hazard on our roadways.
